Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1<\/span> This test method covers the determination of the relative permittivity (dielectric constant) and dissipation factor of solid dielectrics from 50 Hz to 10 MHz over a range of temperatures from\u2009\u221280 to 500 \u00b0C.2<\/span><\/span>,<\/sup>3<\/span><\/span> Two procedures are included as follows:<\/p>\n

1.1.1<\/span> Procedure A\u2014<\/span>Using Micrometer Electrode.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

1.1.2<\/span> Procedure B\u2014<\/span>Using Precision Capacitor.<\/p>\n

Note 1:<\/span> In common usage the word \u201crelative\u201d is frequently dropped.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
