{"id":419733,"date":"2024-10-20T06:27:21","date_gmt":"2024-10-20T06:27:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-505192010-2\/"},"modified":"2024-10-26T12:03:48","modified_gmt":"2024-10-26T12:03:48","slug":"bs-en-505192010-2","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-505192010-2\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 50519:2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This European Standard specifies procedures for assessment of electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields produced by industrial and professional induction heating equipment.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE This European Standard does not apply to household appliances.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Typical induction heating applications are for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>melting;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>zone-melting;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>heating before hot forming;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>heating by tunnel-inductor;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>hardening \/ coaxial transformer handheld devices;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>tube welding;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>tube annealing;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>hardening;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>soldering;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>hard-soldering \/brazing;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>bonding;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>annealing;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>metal-strip and wire heating;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>tempering;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>sintering;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>shrinking.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This product standard covers the frequency range up to 30 MHz taking into account the specific characteristics of industrial and professional induction heating equipment and its usage.<\/p>\n<p>This European Standard may also be used for assessment regarding the requirements of Directive 2004\/40\/EC [1] <i>on the minimum health and safety requirements regarding the exposure of workers to the risks arising from physical agents (electromagnetic fields)<\/i>, provided that no other relevant field sources are present in close proximity.
