{"id":290703,"date":"2024-10-19T19:43:50","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T19:43:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bsi-dd-cen-ts-161972011\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T16:44:19","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T16:44:19","slug":"bsi-dd-cen-ts-161972011","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bsi-dd-cen-ts-161972011\/","title":{"rendered":"BSI DD CEN\/TS 16197:2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This Technical Specification specifies a method for the determination of the magnesium content in fertilizer extracts using atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS).<\/p>\n<p>This method is applicable to EC fertilizer extracts obtained according to CEN\/TS 15960 and CEN\/TS 15961, for which a declaration of the total magnesium and\/or water soluble magnesium content is required, with the exceptions of the following fertilizers according to [4], Annex I D relating to secondary nutrients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>type 4 (kieserite);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>type 5 (magnesium sulfate) and type 5.1 (magnesium sulfate solution);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>type 7 (kieserite with potassium sulfate)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>to which [4], method 8.8, applies.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE Method 8.8 is covered by CEN\/TS 16198 (see Bibliography).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The method applies to all fertilizer extracts containing elements in quantities that might interfere with the complexometric determination of magnesium.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Fertilizers.
