Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1<\/span> This practice covers procedures to perform nondestructive quality control testing described in Practice D4437\/D4437M<\/span> and Practice D4545<\/span> for evaluating the continuity of all types of geomembrane seams using the bubble emission or vacuum chamber method.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

1.2<\/span> The technique described in this practice is intended for use on geomembrane seams, patches, and defects.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.3<\/span> The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in non-conformance with the standard.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
