{"id":350035,"date":"2024-10-20T00:40:03","date_gmt":"2024-10-20T00:40:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-iso-iec-283602015\/"},"modified":"2024-10-26T00:24:21","modified_gmt":"2024-10-26T00:24:21","slug":"bs-iso-iec-283602015","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-iso-iec-283602015\/","title":{"rendered":"BS ISO\/IEC 28360:2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This International Standard specifies methods to determine chemical emission rates of Analyte from ICT &amp; CE equipment during intended operation in an Emission Test Chamber (ETC).<\/p>\n<p>The methods comprise preparation, sampling (or monitoring) in a controlled ETC, storage and analysis, calculation and reporting of emission rates.<\/p>\n<p>This International Standard includes specific methods for equipment using consumables, such as printers, and equipment not using consumables, such as monitors and PC\u2019s. Annex A specifies monochrome and colour print patterns for use in the operating phase of EUT using consumables (e.g. paper).<\/p>\n<p>Examples of EUT that do not use consumables are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Monitors and TV sets (CRT, Plasma, LCD, Rear projector, Beamer).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Video (VCR, DVD Player\/Recorder, Camcorder).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>SAT Receiver (Set-Top Box).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Audio units (CD Player\/Recorder, Home theatre Systems, Audio Home Systems, Micro-\/Mini, Midi Systems, Amplifier, Receiver).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Portable Audio (CD Player, MP 3 Player, Radio recorder, Clock radio etc).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Computer (desktop, tower, server), portable computers (Notebooks).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Emission rates from EUT using consumables may also be determined according to additional requirements identified by \u201cRAL-UZ 171 Option\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Calculations use the generalised model and approximations thereof as developed in Annex C.<\/p>\n<p>The emission rates determined with this method may be used to compare equipment in the same class.<\/p>\n<p>Predictions of \u201creal indoor\u201d <i>concentrations<\/i> from the determined <i>emission<\/i> rates are outside the scope of this International Standard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Information technology.
